Lavendale Country Retreat offers cottage accommodation and communal gathering spaces for individuals or groups, in a secluded farm environment. You’ll find us only a 10 minute drive from York, Western Australia and 90 minutes from the Perth Airport.
Set among 140 acres of wheatbelt bushland, open paddocks, and 2.5km of untouched Avon River frontage, our scenic and tranquil farm provides a natural sanctuary for connection, creativity and wellbeing.
Lavendale Country Retreat has been created as a soft place to land, where open space makes room for reflection and gentle conversation. Find a place to sit in stillness, wander along the river, enjoy the abundance of birdlife, pause to write or paint, or participate in the various events held in the communal areas. Whatever you’re doing, you’ll find space here to reconnect with yourself and nature.

Our rustic cottages offer all the comforts of home, thoughtfully situated for space, quiet, and privacy.
With a total of 17 bedrooms across 9 cabins, choose from 1, 2, or 3-bedroom options to suit your stay. There is also one fully accessible cottage (The Lodge), which has 3 bedrooms.
Group retreats.
Our riverside country retreat offers a simple, laid-back escape for group retreats, seminars, and creative gatherings.
Away from the noise and rush of the suburbs, life slows down here. Set among open skies and the gentle flow of the river, it’s a place to breathe deeply, clear your mind, and reconnect—whether that’s around the table, in our shared spaces, or wandering along the water’s edge.

There’s a simple peace in arriving fully—slowing down long enough to notice that every day brings something new to appreciate on the farm. Every morning brings new colours and textures to the land and sky. At night, the stars are breathtaking—perfect for stargazing.
